Shrink Bander
The BR900 Bander is
designed to count and band most paper products. For example, the BR900
can be used to continuously count and band:
- Post Cards
- Lottery Tickets
- Stickers
- Small Pharmaceutical
Cartons
- Envelopes
- Other flat, low
profile products such as computer Disks, Paper Sheets, Beer Labels may
also be banded
The BR900 Bander is
designed to count and band product into stacks, decreasing the time needed
to manually count items out of inventory for filling orders. It is ideal
for transit packaging.
The BR900 Bander uses
the LONGFORD B855 High Speed
Batch Counter to create stacks of items of the desired count (stack height
not exceeding 2.0"). These stacks are deposited onto the infeed of the
banding conveyor. Each stack is jogged and conveyed to the sealing area,
where a loose band of shrink film is wrapped around the stack. The stack
then passes through a heat tunnel where a heated stream of air will tighten
the band.
